This is a ride that doesn't immediately spring to mind as a fairground favourite, but perhaps it should. It's a very common ride, at least at British fairgrounds, thanks to the fact it's a popular ride from a British manufacturer. It also ranks up there with other fairground favourites in terms of ride experience. There's also the sadly much rarer floorless version known as the Tivlovi Remix, which when on the most exciting ride program is one of the few rides I've ridden that comes close to beating Mondial Topscans like the Samarai at their own game.

At first this look like a traditional twister. Incidentally the ride this was placed next to when I visited the Pleasure Beach. It's the usual group of pods, that spin round one point, with all the groups spinning around one central point. Unlike the usual Twister though, the pods are on an arm that tilts the pods up at a 90 degree angle. This does make it a visually spectacular ride when it's in motion, especially for a family thrill ride.

To ride it's not as scary as it looks, but it's still thrilling as you spin around at speed. This is enhanced by the minimal restraints on the ride, that leave you with a strong feeling of exposure. It doesn't rank as a must do, but if you've brought a wristband, and there's not a long wait, it's worth a go.
