I don't want to be to harsh and call this ride boring, but this is only the second review I've written for a paratrooper (the first being the one at Wicksteed) and I'm struggling to avoid repeating myself. This one is decorated slightly nicer than the Wicksteed one, but that's about the only difference. The only reason we didn't skip it was it's a nostalgic favourite to one of my friends, who remembers riding one with their parents when they were young.

It does provide on quirk, in it's a thrill ride I think would benefit if it was slowed down, at least for part of the cycle. That way you'd have more time to take in some of the views from the top of the ride, currently it goes to fast for you to be able to do that properly. This is particularly ironic when you consider the perception of speed on this ride is very low. You never feel like your going that fast, so it consequently doesn't feel like much of a thrill ride. It just about justifies it's asking price for one go, but it's not one I'd prioritise over other rides at the park.
