This is an example where I have to take back something I said about a ride before riding it. When I heard about this ride opening I thought it would be a waste of time, given there were already a large number of chair swings already, this was just going to be a costly filler.

What I failed to take in to account was the visual spectacle this ride provides. It's position has helped open up an area of the park that was one of the parks low-lights in terms of atmosphere, and has brought it up to the standards of the rest of the park.

Another noticeable feature, which justifies the money spent on a new set, as opposed to a cheaper but just as visually spectacular second hand set, is the new restraint system, that allows younger children to ride. Every other row is a twin set of seats, allowing a child to ride with a supervising parent. One of the twin seats also has special over the shoulder seatbelts to secure a smaller rider. This opens the ride up to a younger market which the level of thrills on this ride is a good match for. This is a great choice of a first adult sized thrill ride for a younger child.

This ride makes a very nice addition to the parks line up. Although it doesn't rank as a must do attraction, unless the queue gets to an over long level, it still makes a nice part of your day out.
