With a lot of parks having water slides like this you need something to make it stand out to avoid it being a forgettable space filler. This one does do something. The open slides work as you'd expect them to, a fun but unimaginative family thrill ride. the enclosed tubes though are a potentially more exciting prospect. The inside of the tube is set in almost complete darkness, with only a few fairy lights on the side of the tube at some points to guide your way.

This could make for a thrilling ride, with you plunging down at speed, disorientated by the darkness, however there's a big problem. As you go on this ride you have a choice of the open slides, or the 2 enclosed slides called the Cobra and the Python. More appropriate names for them would be the Snail and Tortoise. The dingy travels down the tube at a very slow rate. On one go I had the dingy even came to a complete stop halfway down the tube, and I had to push myself along the wall to get going again. It's to slow to create the thrills you'd get from a water slide designed to go faster. Being set in the dark prevents this ride from being a total wash out, (pun intended) but the failure to create any real sensation of speed means this ride is hardly a must try.
