This area used to contain 3 separate mazes, where you would go around all 3 mazes, one after the other. The two smallest ones where removed to make room for the Viking River Splash and the Rockin' Tug ride. The largest maze was kept, and given a makeover so it fitted in with the Land of the Vikings area. When I say makeover, I mean a few new signs at the entrance and around the maze.

When there were 3 mazes the ride had some novelty value, and worked as a distraction. With only one maze a lot of the novelty has been lost. What's left is a dull ride. There are no special features or themed models in the maze, meaning it's just a case of wandering around looking at some hedges until you find the centre.

Once in the centre of the maze there's a small tower where you get a view of the maze and the Viking River Splash rapids around the edge of the maze. This though isn't worth the effort of trudging around the maze, especially as you usually just sneak in the exit to do this quickly.

Overall, even as a queue free attraction this isn't that great a ride. With a few models, and a few features like bridges and bridges I think a maze would make a nice addition to Legoland. This though only serves as a way to kill a bit of time if you have nothing else to do.
