Even if you give the other rides at Joyland a miss you've got to spend a pound to try this one. It's not quite the maddest contraption I've tried, but it ranks very highly in that category.

It takes places in giant tubs which are individually powered, to travel around a concrete path, with wooden walls either side forming a sort of trough. You start by being powered up a small hill, before descending down a series of paths and tight turns. It's like something you could make in your back garden if you had enough space and a JCB.

The really mad bit is when the tub starts spinning. There are bits round the track where you start spinning wildly, and other sensors that bring you to a sudden halt. It creates an exciting, mad and hard to predict experience.
