The course has
a Pirate theme, with various objects making up some of the
obstacles. A lot of it has a home made, done in a shed feel, but in
a good way. It has the feeling of a lot of work having gone in to
it, rather than a cheap home made feel.
This was one of the
things I liked about this course, the other was the hole design. It
has nine holes, which doesn't sound like that much, but it's over a
space you would normally expect to find an eighteen hole course. This is because the holes have been
made to a large scale, with several obstacles, and in some cases two
separate area with a bridge you have to putt across separating them.
This adds a lot more of a fun element compared to courses with
smaller one obstacle holes. It's one I'll remember for a lot longer
than more simply designed holes, and is one I think is worth seeking
out.
