You'd think
this would be a pretty good family powered roller coaster. It's a very large
example of this type of ride, and it features a helix set over a lake. You'd
think it would be quite fun to speed around the track. Unfortunately that's
not what the ride does. Instead it chugs round the track at a slow pace, at
some points it looses momentum completely and you're just kept going by the
rides motor over the current hill.
It stops and starts too much, and doesn't achieve that much of an impression
of speed or exposure at any point. Therefore it lacks the vital ingredients
needed for a traditional good family powered coaster.
Even if you have young kids this probably isn't a ride you'll want more than
one go on as a maximum, and even then it's only worth it if there's no, or a
very short queue. |
