It's only fitting that a park with so much history would have an example of one of the most traditional rides. This one also claims to be the world's most haunted ghost train. That strikes me as a bit of a dubious claim. Surely anyone could make up a few stories to take that record. There's no way of verifying a claim like that.

From the outside it looks like an interesting ride, with a fun looking gravity dip, and the infamous downwards chain lift to get you from the top level to the bottom level. For the most part the interior lives up to this promise. My only slight criticism is the style of the ride feels inconsistent. Some parts feel traditional, some parts feel more
modern. It feels like some parts of the original ride have been replaced with whatever looked good in the ghost train model catalogue, (yes such things exist) without much thought about how what picked would fit in with the ride.

This though doesn't detract from the ride too much. The quality of all the models is of a good standard. This combined with a good frequency of tricks activating around you create a good entertaining ride. In fact it almost feels a shame when you reach the outside sections as it breaks the feeling of immersion created. The outside sections are good fun though, especially the roller coaster style dip, so this is completely forgivable. Overall this is a classic dark ride, being one of the better ghost trains out there.
