Alton Tower's chairswing used to be over in Ug Land, now known as the Dark Forest, but they don't have mush-room over there now. I'm sorry, I know that's a bad joke, but sometimes an old joke just can't be resisted.

This is a chairswing, that has been well themed as a giant toadstool. Some people may not want to ride it, but not me, I'm a Fungi. Again I'm sorry.

I was expecting it to ride like a standard tilting chairswing, but this one does have an unusual twist to it. Rather than the top part tilting and staying at a fixed angle as it spins, in undulates as it spins creating a few extra thrilling bursts of acceleration during the ride.

It's a nice example of a traditional family favourite. It's hardly a must do, and it's not one I'd join a long queue for, but it's one I couldn't resist a quick go on when passing on a quiet day.
