The main farm area keeps up the Halloween farm. It has a good farm shop which sadly I forgot to get a photo of, that was selling a great range of Halloween merchandise, and had just started getting the Christmas stuff in.

This looked like a fun activity which sadly I didn't have the time to try. You can fire some pumpkins, carrots or corn on the cobs using either a giant slingshot or this big air gun a huge distance in to the field. Next time I'll try to get there a little earlier in order to give this a go.

This is the scariest attraction at the farm, the haunted hayride. In it you ride on the trailer around the woods past various scary set pieces, including some innovative shocks and surprises.

The poor lighting, and the fact it could be hazardous to startle one of the actors with a camera flash means I can't really do the ride justice here. It's incredibly impressive what a small place like this has put together.

Another of the attractions with live actors is the Creepy Cottage. It's an inside haunted maze attraction with some great scenes of a quality which is good enough to fit in to a lot of theme parks. The live actors help enhance the atmosphere even further.

The final live actor attraction is the Field of Screams. It's a disorientating walk through a maize field with you walking past and threw  a number of scary scenes. This year there's a carnival theme with scary clowns and circus animals.

Some of the club members who survived the ride.

The Boo Barn is a much tamer attraction were you walk past a number of Halloween themed models which are more fun than scary.
I had the idea to do a fun ride like this, where people think it's a fun ride for children, then at the last scene have a really scary live actor jump out to take people by surprise, hopefully scaring the proverbial poop out of them. I don't know if that's a clever idea, or the product of a sick sense of humour.

It's the end of the day, time to deflate the pumpkin shaped bouncy castle.

Looks like it's time to go home then.
