The Great
Dorset Steam Fair, 2009 |

This ghost train has to have some of the best
airbrush art I've ever seen. |
|

This funhouse looks unassuming, but it if you
look at the back of the lower floor it has one of the most evil
obstacles ever. It's a very steep slide, leading on to a wave shaped
conveyer belt, made of strips of wood. Just sitting on top creates a
real thought of should I do this. On being carried along and thrown
around the belt it's a case of; ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch. Then at
the end your thrown of the belt on to a crash mat below; OUCH! |
|

This is another one that's painful to ride.
The amount of G-Force created from the spinning is at such an intense
level that you get pains in your feet from where the blood swells up in
your feet. |
|

This is a scary ride known as the KMG Tango.
It has a star shaped arrangement of seats, like the Samaria at Thorpe
Park, only there's two rows of seats sitting back to back. The arm then
lifts up to a vertical level, that sees you spinning around wildly, very
high in the air. |
|

Yet another of the many major thrill rides at
the fair. |
|

If the Tango ride didn't go high enough for
you, you could always try the highly popular booster ride. |
|

One of the many prize stalls found at the
fair. |
|

There were a number of fun houses at the fair,
including this very nicely decorated one. |
