The
Eastern Discovery Tour
Day 6 |

This unusual ride is called Sea Panic. It's a
big turntable mounted in the air which tilts and spins during the ride. |

It's also unusual because there are no
restraints, you stand up and hold on to the railings during the ride. |

Unlike the other amusement parks I've visited
so far Beijing Amusement Park has a pay one price policy. You pay a
larger entrance fee, but you then get unlimited riding. This has some
obvious advantages, but did lead to some queues on some of the ride.
Their wasn't anything that bad considering it was the weekend, but this
did put me off riding some of the more familiar rides. |

Having already done two pirate ships in the
last 2 days I skipped this. |

This I did try. It was a tame version of
similar rides I've done in the West. |

The second set of dodgems I've encountered
today. |

This ride is similar to Pandemonium at Drayton
Manor. It's an inverting pirate ship, with floorless seats where your
feet dangle free. |

This log flume didn't look to bad, but it had
quite a long queue so I gave it a miss. |

A jet ride known as the Space Fighter. |

A kids roundabout themed around a set of
motorbikes. |
