After leaving the West gate of Longtan park I crossed the road. I was then at the East Gate of Beijing Amusement park.
If you don't want to visit Panjiayuan and Longtan Park first it's easier to get here by getting the metro to Tiantandongmen (line 5) and using exit C. From their you can follow the road East to the parks North gate.

That has to be one of the most extravagant carousel structures ever.

The first coaster of the day was Superspeed Cool-Cool Bear. I have no idea how the came up with that name.

On seeing that sign I stopped to think about it. Whoever wrote it must know nothing about reverse psychology.

It's quite an odd layout consisting of lots of small dips and bumps as you travel around the track.

A photo of the train going up the hill lift.

That Disk-O isn't quite as well themed as the Shijingshan park one. Still, nice effort.

Another example of some of the effort gone in to the theming.

This is a Top Scan called the Storm Fighter, although there is still a sign on it calling the Crazy Fireball, that comes as standard from the manufacturer.

Next I crossed a bridge to the large area in the North-West corner. It's amazing to see the contrast between the two areas. One area is an extravagantly decorated collection of great rides, this area feels like a slightly run down fair.
