This photo shows the more up to date park map.

A shot of the lake itself, including the jetties some of the boats leave from.

Further around the lake is this chairlift that takes you to the top of one of the large hill next to the lake. At the chairlift station you can buy a return chairlift ticket, or a ticket for the chairlift and alpine coaster.

A view from the top of the chairlift.

This shot shows Force Against a Swift Current. Here you can see the big difference in height between the start and end of the big corner which is why I class it as a water chute coaster instead of a flume ride.

According to the old park map you used to be able to get down the hill using a street luge style vehicle that you used to ride down this road. You can't do that anymore,  which is a shame as it looked like an interesting ride to try.

The street luge has been replaced by this Alpine Coaster. It's like a bobsled, where you sit in individual cars that you can break as you descend. Instead of the big steel pipe used on a bobsled you descend on a steel track.

Part of the alpine coaster running along the old street luge run.

This is the first Alpine Coaster I've ever done. I do prefer the more traditional bobsled runs, as they do feel faster and more out of control and thrilling.
