Not far from the last ghost house I did was this one with a nautical theme. It wasn't quite as good as the last one, but this one is still good, and merits a go.

The Chinese take on a Western fairground classic.

Another one of the rides on offer.

This is another ride that defies international copyright laws, being a copy of a Western Disk-O. Apparently some of the companies that make these want to start selling outside of China. I can't see that happening in the near future, even if they have a ride that won't result in a lawsuit for the park in question, any park that byes one of these rides will become very unpopular with any Western companies that don't like having their ideas taken.

If you have the time, and small change spare it's worth having a go on a few of these. Your no more likely to win, but it's a lot cheaper to have some fun on these games than it is to try them in the U.K.

After leaving Sun Park I got the metro to the Olympic Green metro stop.

I had read that the Beijing Carnival funfair was open until the end of October, so thought it would be open if I went mid October. Unfortunately by then it was already closed, with a lot of the rides being taken apart.

Now that is one brave fairground worker.

With the Carnival closed I never got to try out this ride, which is a clone of the looping coaster I've ridden on Brighton Pier.

Another photo of the Carnival being dismantled. It is rumoured that the nearby Olympic water cube is going to be turned in to a giant water park, with a good collection of water slides, so this could soon be a place for the thrill seeker to visit again.
