The
Eastern Discovery Tour
Day 1 |
|
|
|

This fun house was an experience to remember.
It consists of various activity rooms and features finishing off with a
mirror maze and a spinning tunnel. What was memorable is a member of
staff took us around it, showing us everything in the fun house, before
letting us go around on our own. Rather worryingly I think we had a
better idea where we were going in the mirror maze than she did. |
|

The finale was this spinning tunnel, one of
the best spinning tunnels I've done, with some great lighting effects,
plus it did a really good job of disorientating you as you tried to
cross the bridge through it. |
|

This ranger style ride was outside the fun
house. |
|

This was a novel ride, where you drive in a
dodgem style car that can go round picking up sponge balls to be shot
out of the air gun on the car. Unfortunately it was to quiet to make it
worth going on this. |
|

This is the Rainbow Children's Coaster, oddly
the station has a fairytale theme, but the ride itself has a Tarzan
jungle theme. |
|

I like how they've incorporated a load of old
playground equipment in the ride, along with the fibreglass models. It
gives the theming of this ride a nice bit of character. |
|

The first example of Chinglish, a bad
translation from Chinese in to English, that I spotted on the trip. |
|

I think my favourite ride at the park was this
one. It's a great walkthrough ride with a horror theme. There were no
live actors, but the quality of the theming was great, making it a great
ride. |
|

A two floor carrousel like this is a popular
addition to lots of Chinese amusement parks. Technically it's not a
double decker carrousel, but two single decker carrousels on top of each
other, which operate independently of one another. I don't think I ever
saw the top level going in any park I visited. |
|

Sadly this ride wasn't going when I visited,
meaning not only did I miss out on another count, but also didn't get to
ride one of the cutest coasters I've ever encountered. |
