Coaster: Enclosed Family Coaster
This area mainly serves a similar purpose to Main Street USA at The
Magic Kingdom parks, being a large entrance area with restaurants and
souvenir shops. I have included a small central plaza area at the top
end to include some rides.
For the main attraction I'd want a good enclosed family coaster. The one
that springs to mind is Eurosat, made by Mack at Europa park. It's the
best enclosed coaster, which doesn't feature any inversions I've been
on, plus I think the building would make a good central landmark for the
park.
Major Support Ride:
Intamin Sky Whirl
I did consider some sort of observational wheel here, but was concerned
about the slow loading times of these types of ride. I think an
observational wheel would only work if it was of a high capacity, and
set up to be constantly turning slowly, while continuously loading and
unloading.
It was when I came across the idea of an
Intamin Sky
Whirl that the idea really took off. It consists of 3 arms, each
with a Ferris wheel set up at the end, so 1 arm could be loading, while
the other 2 contained people riding it. Intamin doesn't currently list
it on their website, so I don't know if they would still make one, but I
think it would be a great attraction if I could get one made.
Major Support Ride: Motion Cinema
Here I'd want a large capacity motion cinema style ride. Ideally I'd
want a custom film made, themed as a trip through periods of history,
keeping in with the parks main theme.
Major Support Ride:
Enclosed KMG Move It 32
You might recognise this from another feature I recently on ideas for
theme park rides. It's similar to a Haunted Swing style ride, with a pre
show, but it has a themed KMG Move It 32 ride as the finale at the end.
I would opt to have it on a non inverting program to keep it more
suitable for a more family audience. It would be themed as a trip
through a haunted house, where a Séance is held at the end where strange
things start to happen. |
