Next we headed down to the area of the park where there are two rides set over the lake the park is based around, a log flume called the Wild Water Slide, and a powered mine train coaster called the Bob Express.

The Wild Water Slide is set in a nice area, but it feels like a pretty standard flume ride. It felt a bit like doing a fancy version of one of those two drop compact flumes that a lot of parks now have.

The Bob Express though struck me as a great stand out ride. It's the best powered coaster I've done to date. It picks up a large amount of speed over a large area.

A shot of one of the rides helixes.

This shot was taken from the seating area from which we ate a late lunch, due to the fact we passed a lot of rides we wanted to try before we found somewhere to stop and eat.

After lunch we headed around to try a few repeat rides and some of the smaller rides we missed first time around. This included this Frisbee like thrill ride, which is very similar to Maelstrom at Drayton Manor. Another ride I tried was Fly Away, and Enterprise style ride where you lie face down in a flying coaster style position, like Alakazam at Pleasure Island, Cleethorpes.

We did plan to give the Big Bang water slide a go, but then the weather took a turn for the worst. We decided to use this moment to go on the Ferris Wheel to take some photos. Here you can see the Speedy Bob.

Here's a view of the Dream Catcher, where you can see almost the whole ride.

A view that lets you see how big the Bob Express actually is, along with the Wild Water Slide Log Flume.

Finally we have a view of the Bobby Drop.
